SIN’S COIL
How easy it is for a small sin to rapidly grow into a great evil that soon takes over and consumes our lives. E. Gorhma Clark tells of a circus trainer who had long worked with a twenty- five-foot boa constrictor. He had bought it when it was but a few days old and for over twenty years had handled it daily. It seemed perfectly harmless and under the trainer’s control. The trainer worked with many animals, but he always reserved the boa constrictor act for the grand finale. And so it was this time. The trainer, dressed as a hunter, was making his way through a wooded setting when he was confronted by the mammoth serpent. On a cue from the trainer, the snake began to coil around its master.
