EXPLORERS NEED MOMMY
Calvin and Hobbes are waste deep in the grass. Hobbes is looking off in the distance. With a worried look on his face he says to Calvin, “We’re lost again.” In typical fashion Calvin responds, “HA! We’re brave explorers! The word ‘Lost’ isn’t even in our vocabulary!” Hobbes then turns to Calvin and asks, “How about the word ‘Mommy’?” They both realize the futility of Calvin’s bravado and cry out, “MOMMMYYY!!” Adapted from Calvin and Hobbes, by Watterson, May 18, 1991
