WAKE UP BRAIN
In a recent Hagar the Horrible by Chris Browne, Hagar is sitting on the edge of the bed trying to wake up. He says, “Wake up fingers! Wake up toes! Wake up arms! Wake up legs!” Then he bops himself in the head and says, “Wake up brain!” Then he yells, “I said, ‘Wake up brain!'” Finally, eyes still half closed, he says, “Uh-oh… I was afraid of this… we have a deserter!” Haven’t you felt like this at times. Just when you needed to remember something, just when you need to recall someone’s name, dum de dum dum dum, your brain deserts you. You develop CRS (Can’t Remember Stuff). From Hagar The Horrible, by Chris Browne, July 21, 1991
