HINDU MEAT
Years ago I was preaching in India. Upon my return home, I was preaching in Stillwater, Oklahoma where a university is located. I noticed a young Hindu man eating meat. This seemed strange since Hindus believe in the transmigration of the soul. To eat meat, one may eat his or her ancestors. I approached the young man and said, “I didn’t think Hindus would eat meat.” He answered, “Well, I don’t eat meat at home, but I do here in America.” I asked him: “Why here in America?” He explained, “We will be eating YOUR ancestors.” So I concluded, “Oh, then you are practicing cannibalism.” He was not sure how to respond.
