NOT FIT FOR A DOG
A pastor was excited about how his little congregation was so interested in serving their community. A particular family in the community had been receiving meals from families from the church for several evenings. The mother was recovering from surgery and the church had seen this as an opportunity to help her family. The pastor decided to make a personal visit to the home of this family to see how things were going. He arrived about an hour after the meal had been delivered for that evening. This would give the family a chance to eat before he visited with them. Upon his arrival the pastor saw that the food was sitting on the table, and it did not look like they had eaten any of it. It was a Mexican casserole of some sort. It was in the center of the table in a casserole dish. And the dish was full. The pastor apologized for coming so early…
