The angelic announcement is the same today as it was the night of the sacred birth of the Christ Child: “Peace on Earth, Good Will to men. The wonder of Christmas is the short time during this busy, hurried season when we sit back, relax, and release ourselves to the unbridled celebration of love, giving and joy – for each other and for the one who has given the greatest of all gifts. The challenge of Christmas is to prolong this time of wonder.
