COMMUNICATION ENUMERATION 1)
Listen with an inner ear — to hear what actually is meant, rather than what is said with words. 2) Listen to the concerns of others. Don’t concentrate solely on your own ideas. 3) It is important to know when just to listen. 4) Assume nothing. 5) Say what you mean. 6) Before speaking, always ask yourself: “What is the message that is needed?” 7) Remember that communication is in the present. From “How to Really Talk to Another Person,” by Malcolm Boyd, Parade Magazine, February 19, 1989
