SUCCEEDING IN MARRIAGE
An article from a 1989 issue of Redbook suggested that if you are considering a divorce you should ask yourself these questions that were developed after talks with therapists and wives whose marriages survived. Have you told him, really told him, what is bothering you? Have you been able to really listen to what is bothering him? Are you blaming your marriage for problems that are basically your problems? Have you carelessly let your marriage become a low priority? Do you understand that marriage can’t always be fun? Could you live with the decision to end your marriage? From “Questions to Help You Weather Marital Storms,” Wisconsin State Journal, March 8, 1989
