FOR THE LOVE OF THE KING
In their book, Tales of the Kingdom, David and Karen Mains tell the wonderful story of “The Baker Who Loved Bread.” The story is about Chief Baker in Deepest Forest. The baker had worked very hard to become chief, and he was ever so proud of his breads. There was never a dough of any kind that didn’t become tasty and delicious after his touch. He loved to hear the “Ooooohhhhs” and “Aaahhhhhs” that the King’s subjects would make at the Great Celebrations as they tasted his sweet breads, rolls, and muffins.
