I HAD A CHANCE
by Thomas Olson I had a chance
to do a good work today,
a hungry one to feed.
I was angry, mad, I didn’t care /The world was under my feet.
There are feeding programs all
around a place a hot meal to receive.
I had two burgers,
they were mine,
Why was she bothering me?
As I looked back
just two hours later,
all that I could see
a woman who could have received
a burger I didn’t need. Written by Thomas Olson, Hollywood Christian Life Center, Hollywood, California
