GREATEST CHANGE
Christy and I walked into King’s Mine in Six Flags. Small vehicles were sitting on a miniature railroad track. The track and the cars appeared to be safe, and I said, “They can’t go far in this building.” We bought tickets and boarded a car. Soon the cars began to move toward the wall and a large door opened. As the door opened, we saw a curved track that extended high above the ground. Christy became frightened and wanted to abandon the car, but I assured her that dismounting from a moving roller coaster was impossible. As we traveled over that old track, I held her tightly and prayed silently but earnestly. Later that week we read that the roller coaster had derailed and injured people. Christy and I had accidentally boarded that roller coaster, but people don’t accidentally board the train that runs from earth to heavenly paradise.
