THINK NO SMALL THOUGHTS
Dr. Harris, president of Southern University, challenged the graduates in his commencement address at West Texas State University on May 20, 1989 to “think no small thoughts.” And then he gave seven characteristics needed for good leadership: Integrity, preparation, vision, boldness, persuasive responsibility (to the next generation), courage, good judgment (both foresight and hindsight).
