THIS IS HIS BUSINESS
John Vassar was a kindly gentleman who used every opportunity to speak a good word for Jesus. One day while waiting in a hotel lobby for a friend, he conversed with a very fashionable lady about the Lord. She was struck by the boldness of his approach. Then Mr. Vassar’s friend arrived and he was called out of the room. In a moment, the lady’s husband came in. “There has been an old man here talking with me about religion,” she said. “I would have told him to go about his business,” replied her husband. “Oh,” she answered. “If you had seen him, you would have thought that he was about his business.” From Herald of Holiness, May 15, 1989, by Robert E.
