HAPPINESS WAS JUST EXCITEMENT
In Robert Penn Warren’s novel, A Place To Come To, published by Random House, New York, 1977, there is the line: “I have never had the slightest notion of what happiness is – what I thought of all my life as happiness was only excitement.” The excitement of life, when lived in trust and obedience to God, is what brings true happiness.
