OPEN US, TEACH US, AND USE US
May God open us to the little things in life — so
that our hearts don’t grow old.
May he teach us to be supple and thirsty for the
everyday wonders of being alive — so that our
minds won’t grow weary.
May he help us not to have to be — so useful
that we become useless. Adapted from When I Relax, I Feel Guilty, by Tim Hansel
