WIDE CHURCH AISLES
If I ever build a church, I will build it with wide, wide aisles so parents could bring a blanket, crayons, books, whatever… and the child could be on the blanket during Mass, right next to Mom or Dad. Kids understand blankets. Would more moms and dads come to weekday Mass if you felt you could do that? Be my guest! If anyone gives you a bad time, send them to me. Or tell them they have to love their neighbor! No… better send them to me! They might not know what you’re talking about! From “An Ounce of Father Pound,”, by Reverend Larry Betrozoff (L.B.), Pastor, from the Saint Joseph’s Catholic Community Newsletter, Capitola, California
