RELATING TO ONE ANOTHER
In no area of our lives is the cross’s way of relating — forgiving one another, being kind to one another, and treating one another kindly — more needed than in the family. The popular columnist Erma Bombeck has talked often about the problem of relationships within families. In one of her columns she made the point that the trouble with families nowadays is that no one answers anyone. Every time someone asks a question, that person responds with another question.
