DELICIOUS HOMEWORK
Tommy was not the best student, but he did try. The teacher gave the class an easy homework assignment and told them how easy it would be to do. The next day she asked the class to turn in their homework. All the children did so except Tommy. The teacher was surprised that Tommy had not done the assignment and asked him why. Tommy explained, “Teacher, you told us that our assignment would be a piece of cake, so when I finished my assignment, I ate it.”
