A BIBLE CHALLENGE
My brother Steve Hodgin teaches children’s church at a church in Springdale Arkansas. A boy in his class named Timothy was an unruly bully. Steve would give a weekly award for “Quiet Seat” and “Bible Drill.” Needless to say, Timothy had never won either. Steve implemented a new prize: An “Unmerited Favor” Award! He could give it to whomever he wanted for no other reason than he wanted to do so! One week Steve chose Timothy to win this award. The next week Timothy came back a changed boy and won the “Quiet Seat” award. And the next week he returned and won the “Bible Drill” award. A little grace can go a long way! Editor
