Kids have a certain way of evaluating and classifying professional athletes. An ex- professional football player said that “The only way to really tell how good you are is by knowing what your value is with the kids trading the football cards that come with chewing gum. I once asked my young son how many cards a ‘Joe Namath’ was worth. He said five. I asked about the value of an ‘O. J. Simpson’ and he said he could get eight for that one. Then I casually asked what my card was worth. He looked at me with a straight face and said, ‘It depends on whether you like gum, Dad.'” Sunday Sermons
