MOM KNOWS GOD’S WILL
The pastor had been at his present church for many years. Although the church not very large, it was a difficult decision when a larger, more affluent church asked him to come as their senior pastor. The opportunity had many advantages for his family, yet he had many close relationships in his present pastorate. His denominational superintendent called to see what he had decided and the pastor’s young son answered the phone. “Has your father made up his mind?” the superintendent asked. “I don’t know, said the boy, “Daddy’s upstairs praying and Mama’s downstairs packing.”
