The next two-and-a-half pages consist of a short narration of personal testimonies with suggested songs to interject. The songs may be sung by individuals, groups, choirs, or by the congregation. The very word floods our hearts with joy. Sure, we dread the long lines at the mall, the long lists of gifts that must be purchased, the long time of waiting for the day to arrive. But when Christmas Day finally arrives, there is still that same warm feeling we had as children–the same warmth that enfolds our hearts and our homes. All over the world, people celebrate traditions they learned as children. These links with the past cheer us and bring us hope for the years that lie ahead.
