DRY ROT AND WORMS
An English Vicar, who was concerned with his congregation’s aging and decaying building, made an announcement just before taking up the morning offering. He said, “The proceeds from the offering this morning will go toward the alleviation of the dry rot in the pulpit and the extermination of the worms in the pews.”
