GOD’S HOSPITAL TOUR
Reggie White, defensive lineman for the Green Bay Packers is considered by many to be one of the best defensive players of all time. Reggie is also an ordained minister. Reggie writes of an analogy of the church: “My pastor in Tennessee, Rev. Jerry Upton, had an incredible vision about the damage we bring upon ourselves [in the church]. In the vision he was taken to a large hospital where he was given a tour conducted by the Lord. The hospital had three wards filled with many hurting Christians.” “The first ward contained about a hundred believers who were discouraged and depressed because they had never gotten off the ground in their faith. The Lord told him not to worry about these people because they were cared for by several doctors and nurses, who were actually ministers and other mature believers.
