CHRISTOPHER!
It was an hour of high drama. Right in front of the church. And across the street. And up and down the street, and around the corners. It was Wednesday, April 19th, around 5 p. m. An infant was lost. In increasingly frantic calls that became cries and almost shrieks, the mother yelled out, as she strode searchingly up and down the sidewalk, “Christopher! Christopher!” The three-year-old twin was gone. People next door and around the immediate neighborhood gathered. Children (one or two who have been coming to church here recently) joined in the search, some on bikes. Some of the older youth, along with some of the younger kids sat and stood on the corner watching, looking. Older residents gathered, some searching. Where could Christopher be? He had been playing in the back yard of his home across the street right next to our parking lot. But he couldn’t be found! Several joined in the search of adjoining yards. Some came across…
