CUT IT HALF IN TWO
Several years ago there was a woman who moved from northern Michigan to Arkansas. During the move, she was helping to supervise some of the construction on their new home. When construction was nearly complete, one of the carpenters was helping to do the final cleanup of the work site. There was a twelve foot 2-by-4 left over that would be hard to store at that length so he asked her, “Would you like for me to cut that 2-by-4 half in two?” Without much pause she responded, “No, just go ahead and cut it all the way.”
