WEB OF LIFE
So interdependence means that not only are we tied to one another, but we are also tied to and part of an entire ecosystem. As Chief Seattle said, “This we know, the earth does not belong to us, we belong to the earth. This we know, all things are connected. . .whatever befalls the earth befalls the children of earth. We did not weave the web of life, we are merely a strand within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.” From Vanguard, Sept issue by Robert Miller.
