AFFIRMATION
I was at the burn unit of the army hospital in San Antonio this past Wednesday to see one of our members. I was telling someone about the terrible experience of seeing this man there and reading the Scripture and praying with him. As I was on my way in and out of that unit I could not help seeing all the other burn patients there. It is surely one of the most terrible places of suffering and one of the most wonderful places of healing in all the earth. But in telling of my experience a friend responded by telling of a man who was associated with him and who was terribly burned in Vietnam. He was in that same burn unit and in the next bed was another soldier who had also been terribly burned.
