COMMUNICATING WRONG FEELINGS
A woman insisted that her insensitive husband go with her for marriage counseling in a final attempt to save their failing marriage. The man was reluctant but finally relented to get his nagging wife to stop bothering him. After a brief analysis the counselor suggested that the man needed to communicate his feelings with his wife more. The man was indignant. “How can you say that? I communicate my feelings all the time.” In an attempt to be fair and objective, the counselor asked, “In what ways do you presently communicate your feelings with your wife?” The man confidently answered, “I tell her all the time that I feel she talks too much, spends too much, eats too much, worries too much, and nags me too much. How much more can a man do?”
