PASTORAL HOLDING
A successful and eloquent pastor returned to the first church he had ever pastored during a reunion. During the reception, one of the long-time members of the church approached her former pastor and shared some of the changes that had taken place since his departure. She concluded her discourse with the intent of complimenting her former pastor, “Regardless of all the changes and blessings God has bestowed upon our church, none of the pastors have been able to HOLD ME the way you did.”
