DON’T GET TOO HUMBLE
After a worship service an old lady stopped and spoke to the pastor who had only been with them a few months. She said, “I’m deaf, and I can’t hear a word you say, but I still come to get my plate full.” Hoping to console her, the pastor said, “Well, maybe you haven’t missed much.” She replied, “Yes, that’s what they all tell me.”
