SHADOWS HAVE NO POWER
Death is but a shadow — the shadow of death — as the Psalmist David wrote. There are those timid souls who are known to be afraid of their own shadows. Fear of one’s own shadow is simply a sign of genuine cowardice. For it should be quite obvious that a shadow does not have the power to hurt anyone or anything. A dog can bite, but it’s shadow can’t. A lion can kill a person, but it’s shadow can’t even hurt a flea. A skunk can really stink up a place, but a skunk’s shadow has no smell at all. notice a pattern here?
