HEALTHY FAMILY HONESTY
It is good to have a healthy honesty on the part of those married longer years, as they relate that awful moment of anger when the wedding ring was thrown on the floor and rolled into a crack and took two hours to find and put back on. It is good for the ones married just a short time to know that a marriage can weather “down” moments and rough places, as well as coming to know that it is important to work at relationships with some measure of unselfishness and understanding because the end result is worth it! Time for protected, uninterrupted conversation, with freedom to express oneself without the danger of being completely misunderstood, is needed in this cross-relationship with its variety of people, of a variety of ages and experiences, as well as in the one-to-one relationships or those within the small two- generation individual family.
