CHANGE THE WORLD FIRST
There is a scene from an old movie called “The Hoodlum Priest.” The priest ministers to convicts. One of them is condemned to death. The priest and others picket the governor’s mansion, but the hour comes, and the man is executed. The picketers leave except for the priest still holding his sign. A guard comes over and says, “Father, do you expect to change the world with that sign?” “No,” replies the priest, “I don’t expect to change the world. I am only trying to keep the world from changing me.”
