ACQUITTED, BUT
Then there’s the story of the uneducated old mountain man who was arrested for stealing a horse. He wasn’t too bright, but he was smart enough to hire a pretty good lawyer who managed to argue his case rather effectively. In fact, the attorney won the case for him. The judge told him he was acquitted. The mountain man scratched his head and said to the judge “Does that mean I get to keep the horse?”
