LAWYER & A THIEF
A man was charged with the theft of an expensive sports car. After a lengthy trial, the man was acquitted. Shortly after his trial, the acquitted returned to see the judge and told him that he wanted to file a warrant against his lawyer. The judge wanted to know why the man wanted his lawyer arrested after his lawyer was able to win his case and win the man’s freedom for him. The man explained, “Well, I didn’t have enough money to pay my lawyer so he took the car I had stolen as payment.”
