Three small ships, the biggest was sixty-six feet long. Every day the crews on the ships threatened mutiny. Not a day from the time he left port that his crew did not give him a hard time. Every day at the end of the day, Christopher Columbus would sit in his cramped quarters and write in his journal, “This day, we sailed westward.” He was not about to let anybody stop him from the dream and goals in his life.
