PEAK CONDITION
A few years back Keith Christiansen, a student at Trinity College (Deerfield, IL), had a part-time job that was the envy of his classmates. While others earned minimum wage putting books back on the shelves in the library or mopping the floors in the classroom building, a wealthy widow paid Keith $10 an hour just to take her late model Mercedes Benz for a spin on the highway! It seems that the woman’s mechanic had told her that the car needed to be driven at highway speeds from time to time to keep it in peak condition.
