LIFE
Power makes tyrants of men,
And money only nourishes
An unquenchable hunger.
Love is only a pilgrimage
In hope of the comfort
Of a home.
We are predictable players
In a game we cannot win,
Played by someone else’s rules
On some foreign court.
God is the only sanctuary;
In his mother- mercy
He reaches out to each little one
Feeding us tiny bits of heaven
So we don’t die too soon. By Robby Robinson, St. Canera Catholic Church, Neosho, Missouri
