THEY WILL FIND ME
A cruise ship sinks and three men–a Christian, a Moslem, and a Jewish man–survive and find themselves shipwrecked on an uninhabited island. The Christian, takes two palm branches, forms them into a cross, and prays to God to save him from this island. The Moslem man gathers some sea weed, forms them into a mat, kneels with his face toward Mecca, and prays to Allah to save him from this island. The Jewish man walks casually to the shore, finds the nearest palm tree, and takes a nap. The Christian and the Moslem are quite confused by the Jewish man’s absolute trust and confidence in the midst of this trial. How can he remain so calm? How can his faith be so much stronger than their own? Several hours later the Jewish man awakes, and the Christian and the Moslem inquire, “Aren’t you concerned about our situation?
