HEAVEN’S LIMITS
When my father passed away, my daughter-in-law took all five of our grandchildren in her van to the cemetery, so they could all be together and she could attempt to explain to the younger ones what was going on–about death, granddaddy’s going to heaven and such. As they drove along, she was attempting to paint an appropriate picture of what was going on with their grandfather at that moment. She said, “Granddaddy Tidwell is up in heaven now fellowshipping with Abraham, Moses, Daniel, Peter, Paul, and so many others. Our little four-year-old granddaughter interrupted to state, “Well, I bet he ain’t fellowshipping with old Jezebel, ’cause she’s in hell!” From Bob Tidwell, Hand Avenue Baptist Church, Bay Minette, Alabama
