A POLL ON HEAVEN AND HELL
Nearly three-quarters of Americans believe they have a good chance of getting to heaven, but they think nearly a quarter of their friends will go to hell. A poll of 604 adults conducted by USA Weekend Magazine found 80% believe heaven exists and 67% believe in hell. 72% of them rate their chances of going to heaven as good to excellent. However, they believe 6 out of 10 of their friends are going to heaven and nearly 1 in 4 will go to hell. From Wisconsin State Journal, December 17, 1986
