WITHOUT US THEY ARE LOST
During the final week of July 1997, the city of Fort Collins, Colorado was inundated with thunder showers to the extent that the ground was saturated with water, and the city was flooded. A mobile home park along the river was devastated. An emergency worker told of his concern as he rescued a woman from her home: “I just couldn’t stand the thought of knowing there was someone who was in there, and if I didn’t get her out, she would be lost.” As we look around us, we see countless victims caught in a flood of immorality and sin’s condemnation. How much greater our own imperative– if we do not rescue them with the promises of God, they will be lost forever. Michael Hodgin
