THERE ARE MORE DEER THAN YOU CAN SEE
Jesus tells us that the fields are white unto harvest. In response to this, one minister reflected that, “Jesus hasn’t been in my community. No one is interested in spiritual things. There will be no harvest in my town.” I went hunting with a friend recently. I was in a stand blind (this is a box that is raised ten or so feet above the ground) and my friend was several hundred yards away and around the corner of a crossing senderos (a sendero is like a road cut through the brush). My friend had not shot a deer yet and was somewhat frustrated and disappointed because he had not even seen a deer. I could see him (he stands over 6’6″) and all around him from my vantage point.
