SEVEN GREATEST FEARS
Let me tell you though, what I am afraid of. I call these Jackson’s Seven Greatest Fears. I am afraid of not trying. I am afraid of not doing my best at something. I am afraid of spending my time on things that do not matter, and not giving my time to things that matter a great deal. I am afraid of following after FADs (For A Day) I am afraid of putting my flesh before God’s Spirit. I am afraid of, as Paul put it, becoming a cast away. I am afraid of letting fear rob me of life’s opportunities. Again, you will notice one thing that is not on my list; failure. Someone has noted, “He who has never failed somewhere, that man cannot be great. Failure is the true test of greatness.”
