Excuses | Failure | Judgment | Repentance | Weakness

Last month I wrote about the possibility of retelling a familiar story from the Bible with an entirely different slant, bias or premise. Here’s one that was reported by the Reader’s Digest to be from ERA Journal of Eastern Region of the Royal Institute of British Architects. (Talk about terse titles!) It retells the Noah/Flood story along these lines: And the Lord said unto Noah: “Where is the ark which I commanded thee to build?” And Noah said unto the Lord: “Verily, I have had three carpenters off ill. The gopherwood supplier hath let me down — yea, even though the gopherwood hath been on order for nigh upon 12 months.
