SEASONED FRIENDS
Oliver Wendell Homes wrote: “There is no friend like an old friend who has shared our morning days, no greeting like his welcome, no homage like his praise.” All of us would like to have old friends. But have you ever stopped to think that old friends are not made in a hurry? If you would like to have such friends in the years to come, you had better start making new friends now. Sturdy friends, like sturdy beams, take time to season.
