Eight-year-old Christopher Haynes from Peterborough, England, threw a bottle into the surf at Sheringham with a message inside asking for a pen pal. A few weeks later he received a reply from a Dutch citizen who found the bottle on the beach at Zandvoort, The Netherlands, telling him never to throw rubbish in the sea again. Readers Digest
