RESTORED FORGIVENESS
Ultimately, forgiving others and ourselves is possible only when we have experienced God’s forgiveness by placing our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior from sin and its consequences. He died on the cross and rose again so that we might experience God’s forgiveness from all our sins. Once we come to trust in Him and experience his forgiveness, we are in a position to forgive others who have offended us. We then can appropriate God’s strength to face the pressures of life.
