DIFFERING PERSPECTIVES
Years ago my mother lived next door to a dear woman who was very much concerned about her son’s actions. The boy had been arrested earlier and the week came for his trial. Seeing the neighbor outside hanging up clothes, my mother stopped to ask about what happened to her son. The woman said, “Well, you know, it was the strangest thing. Not only did they not find my boy guilty, but they hung the jury!” William Jones, Oklahoma Christian College, Oklahoma City, OK 73111
